***Is it bad that I categorize men lmao!***

BF=Boyfriend: Pretty self- explanatory. A guy that you are in a committed relationship with. He may not be a good man, but he yo man.

BM= Boyfriend Material: This is a guy who is decent, but needs a bit of work. You are not in a committed relationship. He doesnt have BF potential until he gets a few things straightened out.


Sum examples:

• A guy who has a good job, own place, own car, BUT aint got no follow thru, and he aint totally treatin u like the good woman u truly are. He aint triflin, he just aint puttin in that effort for whatever reason. He's a good guy but not quite ready for a committed relationship.
  


• A smart, nice, affectionate, fun, sweet guy, who doesnt have the best job, has no clear career path goals/unsure how to attain these goals/its clear its gonna take a bit til he gets a good career. An ex-thug mite qualify.
  


• A good guy who had a triflin ex, and now he's scarrrred to get in2 another relationship.
  

Basically a BM is a BF in training. He needs a bit of time. But are u willin to wait until he gets it together????? Are u willin to give him sum BF lessons?

JO= Jump Off: A jump off rarely gets to the BM/BF stage. Actually they shuld never get to the BM/BF stage cuz they are JOs for a reason. A JO is a fine FIIIIIIINE brutha that u most likely wuldnt bring around ur fam...but ur homegrls know all about him. He's not dependable, he may not have too much upstairs, but when u wanna have sum fun..he's the one to call. There's a mutual understanding that you guys will never be in a relationship. A JO doesnt neccessarily mean sum1 u get it poppin with..sex mite not evn be apart of the equation..he culd just be a nice fine specimen u chill with to have a good time and not have to worry about the dramatics that occur in relationships. He's eye candy. He looks nice on ur arm. When ur BM is actin up..u just mite call ur JO. Pookie & Ray Ray tend to be JO's.
